Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forklift maintenance and repair, with the ability to work on various types of machinery and equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can diagnose issues accurately and provide effective solutions. The Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles and equipment operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Major responsibilities of the position is to perform basic and in-depth repairs of forklift and other material handling equipment in a safe and professional manner. As well as performing routine maintenance and safety inspections.
• Operate industrial machinery as needed for repairs or maintenance tasks.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete repairs efficiently.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working in the shop or on-site.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of forklift systems and components.
• Familiarity with forklift operation and industrial equipment is highly desirable.
• Experience in diagnosing mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
